CBS Records double vinyl album promoting material by various bands on their label. The three Aerosmith numbers are taken from their Get Your Wings album.
Other artists featured were: Blue Oyster Cult, Rick Derringer, Iggy Pop and The Stooges, REO Speedwagon, Steppenwolf, Edgar Winter and Johnny Winter.

CBS Records promotional album (not for sale) provided free to readers of SOUNDS (British weekly rock paper).

The album contained 13 tracks by artists including Santana, Ted Nugent, Cheap Trick, Sparks, Lone Star, Ran Jam, Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush. Kansas, Crawler etc. In regard to Aerosmith, it was promoting their "Draw The Line" album (CBS 82147).

Speedway, Ontario on March 18, 1978. Aerosmith co-headlined the event in front of 350,000 together with Heart, Jean-Michel Jarre, Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush, Dave Mason, Ted Nugent, Santana and Rubicon. This album features a couple of live tracks from each except Jean-Michel Jarre.

The 10 track album included numbers from REO Speedwagon, Boston, Molly Hatchet, Journey, Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, Aerosmith, Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush, Rick Derringer, and The Boyzz.

The live Aerosmith track was promoting their "Live Bootleg!" album (CBS 88325).

Rats In The Cellar was track 2 on side 1.

The "Beavis and Butt-Head Experience" is based on the contraversial MTV cartoon show and is a collection of heavy rock tracks and short humour sketches.

Bands featured are Nirvana, Anthrax, RUN-DMC, Aerosmith, White Zombie, Primus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jackyl and Cher.

"Deuces Are Wild" was an outtake from the "Pump" sessions (1989) and later appeared on their Geffen greatest hits compliation, "Big Ones" (Geffen 1994).

Features Aerosmith's live performance of "Come Together" (track 3) when they played at the 33rd annual Grammy awards in February 20, 1991 (Radio City Music Hall, New York). It was part of a tribute for grammy Living Legend - "John Lennon"

This double CD compilation features tracks from the 25th Anniversary Woodstock concert at Saugerties, NY between August 12-14, 1994.

Aerosmith co-headlined the event with Metallica and this release includes tracks from Melissa Etheridge, Joe Cocker, Blind Melom, Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Primus, Jackyl, Nine Inch Nails, Metallica, Paul Rodgers, Sheryl Crow, CSN, Collective Soul, Candlebox, Cypress Hillm Rollins Band, Bon Dylan, Traffic and Peter Gabriel.

The CD includes an additional booklet recollecting the event in words and pictures.

A rocker's benefit CD featuring a dozen tracks of mostly live and rare material deom various artists such as Stone Temple Pilots, Radiohead, Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Also includes an "Old School Bonus Track" by Aerosmith. This was recorded at the Boston Music Hall (now Wang Center) on March 28, 1978.

 

Stoned Immaculate: The Music of the Doors

Love Me Two Times (Densmore/Krieger/Manzarek/Morrison) (track 9)
The album carries renditions of Doors' classic by artists such as Creed, Days of New, the reformed Stone Temple Pilots, The Cult, Bo Diddley and Aerosmith.

Aerosmith's cover of "Love Me Two Times" originally appeared on the "Air America" soundtrack in 1990. This version has been re-engineered/mixed to add in keyboards by Rob Manzarek and slide guitar by Robby Kreiger.

 

WZLX: From The Vaults

Rag Doll
Live compilation CD released by Boston radio station, WZLX, available in New England music stores. It contains 10 live performances (not available before on CD) by Tom Petty, Aerosmith, Allman Brother, Don Henley, Jimmy Buffet, Peter Frampton, Steve Miller and Boston.
Proceeds from the CD benefit the Walden Woods Project and Franciscan Children's Hospital.

Aerosmith's "Rag Doll" (track 4) is taken from the Great Woods, Mansfield, MA concert on August 26th, 1993.

Let The Music Do The Talking - Joe Perry Project (track 12)
This 15-track collection samples Boston rock history. Attempts to market an Aerosmith song ran into licencing issues so they alternatively picked the Joe Perry Project track which Aerosmith also covered. Other bands featured are the J. Geils Band, The Cars, Mighty BossTones and Boston.

A two disc CD set of the highlights from the February 2003 "Salute to the Blues" concert at New York's Radio City Music Hall . A concert film also called "Lightning In A Bottle" opens in US theatres from October 15, 2004 (directed by Antoine Fuqua).

The 27 track set is produced by Martin Scorsese and "I'm A King Bee" featuring Steven Tyler and Joe Perry appears on CD 2. During this February 7th, 2003 performance, Perry and Tyler also performed "Stop Messin' Around" along with the resident "House Band".

The other guest artists reads like a Who's Who in music and features Alison Krauss, Dr John, Natile Cole, Buddy Guy, Vernon Reid, John Fogerty, Solomon Burke, Robert Cray, Bonnie Raitt, Gregg Allman, B.B. King to just name a few.
